The next monthly meeting is Thursday, October 8th at 4662 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange (map). Social time is 6:30-7:00 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
Meeting Presentation: State and County Amendments and Port Orange Charter Amendments
Our new Deputy Treasurer, Tamara Parker, will give a presentation on the State and County Amendments that are on your ballot. For some voters in Port Orange, there will also be 3 Charter Amendments (they were on page 3 of my ballot). She will help club members to make informed decisions on how to vote on these amendments. You’ll want to hear what she has to say!
We have lots to do for the General Election!
Kevin Nielan will discuss how very important it is to sign up for election volunteer greeter shifts right now. We need to fill many slots at our tent(s) for the General Early Voting and Election Day. Look for the whiteboard and signup sheets as you enter Fellowship Hall during our social time from 6:30-7:00 PM. You can also sign up during the breakout session, both during and after the meeting.
Lynne Fish will be available at the meeting to answer any questions you may have about poll watching for the General Election.
