The next monthly meeting is Thursday, May 14 at 4662 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange (map).  Social time is 6:30-7:00 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

Our speakers will be James Folcik and Craig Sava. They will tell us about the increasing adoption of Flock camera systems nationwide and within our local community. They will explain Flock Safety’s surveillance technology, various devices, and capabilities. Also addressed will be key concerns and real-world instances of misuse. Additionally, they will discuss the potential negative implications for civil liberties.

James Folcik
James Folcik is a PODC member and former IT professional who currently serves on the executive leadership board of Just Us Volusia, a local not for profit community-based organization. He is passionate about technology, reversing the damage the current administration has done, and he opposes the rise of government surveillance in America.

Craig Sava
Craig Sava is a current IT professional who works supporting the health care industry, and a founder of the Daytona State College Cybersecurity Club. He is passionate about technology, cybersecurity, and is a privacy advocate who describes himself as “just a guy concerned about privacy and government surveillance overreach”.
