The Thursday, January 8, 2026 meeting will be at 4662 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. (map). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:00. The speaker at the meeting is Marialana Kinter, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives FL District 7.
Kinter grew up as the youngest of four children. The children and their single mother depended on Medicaid and free school lunches in order to make ends meet. Kinter says those years taught her that medical and dental care are not luxuries. In high school, she contributed to her family’s welfare by working two jobs and learned that sometimes not even hard work is enough to raise a family out of poverty.
After high school, Kinter joined the Navy in “a path forward, a chance to serve my country and build a different future. I served as a nuclear reactor supervisor which demanded discipline, instilled leadership, and taught me how to execute a mission with precision and purpose.”
