The Thursday, October 9, 2025 meeting will be at 4662 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. (map). Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting begins at 7:00.
Our speaker will be Noah Widmann, one of the Democratic candidates for U.S. House, FL district 7 (which contains Port Orange). Noah is a Central Florida native and was raised by a disabled single mother who needed both SNAP and housing assistance to get by. At 18, he became a father and supported his family by working fast food and then becoming an EMT. Noah then became the first person in his family to go to college and was able to complete Georgetown Law School with the help of a scholarship for low-income and first generation students.
