Our club is partnering with Just Us Volusia to protest this administration.
If you don’t wish to drive to City Hall in Daytona Beach, we will offer carpooling sponsored by PODC board members who will drive people to the event. Meet at the Port Orange Presbyterian Church (the same place where our monthly meetings are held) between 9:15-9:25 AM so that the cars can leave by 9:30AM.
Club member and Founder and President of Just Us Volusia, Kelly Czajkowsi, will be discussing their upcoming protest at our March meeting. She is also looking for volunteers to help with the large crowd that she is expecting. Kelly wants volunteers to know that they would not be protesting or holding a sign.
She needs help with providing a larger safety team, needs more eyes to watch the crowd to keep protesters safe, or possibly helping to pass out water. If you are interested in helping, you can speak to her after the meeting or contact her via e-mail: Kelly@justus-volusia.
