Our guest speaker is Port Orange orthodontist Dr. David Lowe. Dr. Lowe is a specialist in orthodontics and a former forensic odontologist with nearly 30 years of private practice experience in Volusia County, where he continues the legacy of his father, who founded the practice in 1958. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery, Certificate in Orthodontics, and Master of Science from Northwestern University. From 2002 to 2015, Dr. Lowe also served as a forensic odontology consultant for Florida’s District 7 Medical Examiner, assisting in over 100 dental identifications. A passionate advocate for science-based public health policy, he is a vocal opponent of the recent fluoride ban.
In addition to his clinical and forensic work, Dr. Lowe is a professional actor and Equity Membership Candidate, having performed in more than 100 theatrical productions across Central Florida.
