Earth Day 2023 at Riverside Park

On a beautiful and busy Saturday, April 22nd, the Democratic Environmental Caucus hosted a booth at the Port Orange Earth Day celebration located at Riverside Park on Ridgewood Avenue near the Dunlawton Bridge. While there we signed up potential new members of the Caucus, had interested voters sign a petition for an amendment to the Constitution guaranteeing clean water in Florida, and we encouraged voters to update their voting information and vote-by-mail preferences due to new Florida laws.

A very bright and attractive sign introducing the Democratic Environmental Caucus. Visitors were encouraged to join the caucus if they were either a registered Democrat of NPA in order to officially join the fight to protect our natural resources.

The City of Port Orange put out a maze of recycle bins for young guests to play in. New recycling bins were available to Port Orange citizens.
